Welcome Me Home Storm 3

I came to Australia in October of 2009 and the one thing I would miss terribly about home would be my daily usage of my partner in crime, the BlackBerry 8703e (Verizon Wireless).  At the time of purchase in 2005 I didn’t realize that I would be traveling overseas within five years time and therefore considering a phone that had globetrotting features were not within my realm of thought.  2009 came along and I was considering the purchase of a new smartphone, but I said to hell with it; reap the technological advances that the good ol’ US of A would make when I return someday.  Well that someday has come and I am in need of a smartphone ASAP!

James Pants is F-R-E-S-H (yo thats fresh)

James Pants

Late nights with the crew at the pub, heading back home at 3am with an empty wallet, empty bed, and to only find yourself watching Adult Swim; the madness that ensues with Space Ghost and Master Shake screaming various obscenities  is an excellent concoction for the pre-hangover you’ll experience within the next twelve hours.  During such an evening I was able to retain a few brain cells to store what only lasted for ten seconds and that was a random bump featuring the sounds of James Pants.

The Mcfly 2015

So it appears Nike is in the works for what I think will turn out to be a five-year project that I will like to dub “Project Fly”.  Picking up this scoop from one of my daily readings, GIZMODO, I couldn’t help but to share this with the rest you good folks.

Photoshop.com Album: Pepper Tree Ln in Quorn, SA (Aged)

Just a little something I felt I should put up.  Not just for the fact I haven’t posted anything up here for ages, but just to throw something up here I reckon I would want as a “keep sake” for the blog.

I must mention that I’ve been quite busy with my new found position at FashionHorne.com which has kept me away from the “madness”, but thats what my life is about.  Cherishing what I have at the moment, but continuing to progress and move on to greater heights………and in some cases lows.

I reckon that is all I have on my mind for now, but look out for some more great shots as I travel to New South Wales – later.

Roadhouse Clothing, Footwork4Fashion, Ghana vs. Oz (Pt. 1)

This past weekend I started to make out for a pretty extensive three days of traveling.  I was looking forward to catching up with an old friend of mine back on Phillip Island (mentioning that place just makes me shake my head) for a surprise birthday get together, but shit never goes as planned in the land of Oz; at least it doesn’t for me. An Everyman’s Sport

I have a nostalgic personality, so I’m always reminiscing.  For past couple of months, I’ve been getting my friends together to play kickball.  Sundays are the best days for this.  I chose kickball because it was always a sport that allowed everyone to have a fair shot at being great.

Right before game 1

Be it that your legs are the strongest muscle one can develop, everyone could get a decent kick in.  There were also people’s abilities and whatnot.  The big kids couldn’t run fast but they had more powerful kicks.  The fast kids made up for their moderate kick strength with blazing speed through the bases.  Girls and guys were pretty even but the guys always had an edge with the catching of the pop ups.  You know it’s true.  Then there’s the feelings you get while playing.  The anxiety before you kick, getting under the ball to make that inning ending catch.  I’ve brought those feelings back.  I guess you can call me a kid at heart.  In a world where everyone is so “grown up” people forget how to have fun, be carefree and such. They get so wrapped up in “adult life”  I simply provide them an outlet to be themselves.  An outlet where nothing matters but the game at hand. That’s why your fondest memories of the game are when you were in elementary school. That time where life was simple.

The Line Up

Choosing the kicking order

I’ll continue to do this as long as i can and as long as people come.
