EYTeen Spot

EY Teen Spot

“Even if you weren’t watching, we’d still be doing this anyway.”

If you are anywhere near the Elizabeth, NJ area this Friday night, 14Aug2009, come out to the Ritz Theatre and show support for the children of  EYTeen Spot.   These young high school students will be performing an ensemble of acts and poetry mixed up with the norms of todays fast paced, wireless society.  Come out to support the youth, film, live performance, and the arts overall.

EYTeen Spot was created by none other than one of Elizabeth, NJ’s own, Theodore Perkins (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1976420/bio).  Receiving his BA in Theatre from Morehouse University as well as receiving his MFA in Theatre from UCLA this young man knows what he is doing.  Theodore has performed in numerous commercials and stage performances on and off Broadway, and his first breakthrough on prime-time television starring on an episode of  Lie To Me, ep. 2  Moral Waiver.  Still on the uprising himself Theodore realizes that the opportunity he is presenting to the Elizabeth’s youth were not knocking on his doorstep growing up hence, has decided with the help of fellow actors/actresses and the help of the community to give something back to the youth instilling a respect and hopefully a love for the performing arts.

This is a free admission and feel free bring one, two or your entire family to enjoy this night in Elizabeth.  Bring out the youth especially so they may be inspired to be a part of this growing film and performance workshop.  All information can be located on the flyer below.  I’ll see you there!
